Today we will be making a tag cloud, these have been very popular lately in the whole Web 2.0 scene. An example of what we are going to make can be found by visiting any one of numerous sites out today. A tag cloud is broken down into 2 parts, the tags and the cloud. The tags are keywords given to certain elements of a site, usually a news item, article or tutorial. A cloud then grabs all the tags and sorts them; during this sorting any tag that is found or used multiple times will have a bigger font size to stand out against the ones that are not used alot. The bigger the font size, the more this tag is used widely.

Meta Tags, what are they? They are lines of code placed in your html file between the files head tags. But what do they do? These are tags in html which tell a search engine information about your web page. This is useful in many ways. It allows a search engine to find your site based on your site name, its domain name, the content within the site, description about the site, author of the site and more. Lets begin by setting up a scenario. You just woke up and jumped out of bed, you just finished breakfast or you just arrived at work. I believe its that time again. I do not have much time to update my site or write tutorials because I am busy with many exciting projects (below) and in the process of starting a web developement firm. I shall be back soon with a graphic heavy website that deals with nothing more then a personal blog, portfolio, scripts and tutorials.
