Meta Tags, what are they? They are lines of code placed in your html file between the files head tags. But what do they do? These are tags in html which tell a search engine information about your web page. This is useful in many ways. It allows a search engine to find your site based on your site name, its domain name, the content within the site, description about the site, author of the site and more. A well designed set of meta-tags can improve your site's chances of being hit by several hundred percent. So what meta tags can I use, and how do I use them?
